“ Pink berry”

The pink berry business the first time it was made in west Hollywood in January 2005 by Korean Americans Shelly Hwang and Young Lee . They made the same product as yogurt .
Pink berry looked like icy yogurt sweet with fresh fruit on top. The history of pink berry started in 2005 when they ( Hwang and her business partner Young Lee ) decided first to make a teahouse but they couldn’t get the permit for teahouse so they decide on another plan , which was pink berry . when they thought if made something for diet and healthy people specially for California’s people because they want to eat healthy food so they thought that is a good plan. We have for economy which as :
A: TRADITIONAL : The way they have always been done .
B: COMMAND( OR CONTROLLED) :the people choose how resources will be used and decide the distribution of goods and services.
C: MARKET (OR CAPITALIST) : the government does not intervene.
D: MIXED : a mixed economy has some characteristic of a command economy and some of market economy .
So the pink berry is the mixed system because the owner of the store sets the price and decides how to make the product also in the other hand the government check the tax and decide on wage per hour for employees .
This product has a lot of taste like coffee , green tea , blue berry and simple
I like it I think you like it too ! isn’t it???

1. I like the way you answered the question about the type of economic system that matches Pinkberry: mixed.

2. See if you can revise this part so that it communicates your ideas more effectively. Hint: Break it down into 2 or 3 separate sentences:
"when they thought if_____ made something for diet and healthy people specially for California’s people because they want to eat healthy food so they thought that is a good plan.'

3. Do you know the difference between four and for?

4. Review the section in Quest 2 and in our handouts on run-on sentences. Let your reader know when to breathe! [Run-ons will be on the TEST!}
"So the pink berry is the mixed system because the owner of the store sets the price and decides how to make the product also in the other hand the government check the tax and decide on wage per hour for employees."

5. The product has a lot of taste? or a lot of flavors?

6. What does "which as" mean? That is not English.

7. After you describe Pinkberry's product and business history, you need a transition. You can't just jump to the information about the economic systems without tying the 2 ideas together. Why not continue telling what the owners did? They decided what to sell, what to charge, etc. These actions are consistent with a mixed economic system.
You probably need 2 paragraphs here anyway, Lea, because you have 2 such different ideas going: one is the narrative about the history of Pinkberry. The second is the explanation about economic system types.

8. "Isn't it" can only answer the question "Is it?" If you want to ask if someone likes Pinkberry, which helping verb must you use in your question? ____ you like Pikberry? [Fillin the blank]. Then the tag question matches THAT helping verb.

9. Please save this document in MS word, make corrections and bring a hard copy to class. Thank you!
